Despicable Meme ::SPOILERS::

You remember that Homestuck sad-art I said I'd like to have done by this weekend? Yeah, well, Despicable Me happened. So today, instead of finishing my Homestuck sad-art, I started work on a pokemon commission for my friend Kristie and then I worked on this. Because I had to.

Gru does not translate well into my style. I think I'm finally getting the hang of drawing him though.

Anyway:
1. I am the most epic supervillain EVAAAAAAR! Also allergic to myself.

2. Well who else would I like most? I gotta say though, after multiple viewings of the movie, Vector is coming in at second place for being so totally made of awkward. He still loses points though, for being made of awkward and for cheating and having his dad's help.

3. I hate these two. Although my friends and I have a theory that Mr. Perkins crushes apples at random because he can. "I would like some decaf iced coffee. *crush apple*" "Tell my two-o-clock meeting that I have to cancel. *crush apple*"

4. Gotta admit I was NOT expecting him to freaking Matrix-dodge through the heat-seeking missiles. Not sure what I was expecting, but this was far more awesome. He's in great shape for someone in his late-40s/early-50s by the way. Also, Offhand Backhand-ing a shark? Fuck yes.

5. I was listening to both the 'How To Train Your Dragon' and the 'Despicable Me' soundtracks on repeat while drawing this. Also, for the record, I think the minions are hilarious, but not really cute per-say.

6. God this part was so cute. He's gotten the moon, and then sees the ticket floating by and all he can think is "OH HEY, if I can speed through dangerous atmospheric re-entry, risking the very serious possibility that my shitty space shuttle will fall apart and I will burn horribly to death, I can totally make it to the ballet recital my girls really really wanted me to be there for!" My other favorite 'sweet moment' was when he was making the girls pancakes.

7. The carnival scene was full of win. Also hilarious was when he arrived home and had bunny face-paint. Edith mentioning that her pancake was shaped like a dead guy was pretty funny as well.

8. That there on the right was the face I was making the first time I saw the movie. D8> "That's not how scenes like this usually work!" ;___; He tried so hard to get back in time! *is sad*

9. I have a giant teddy-bear similar to the fluffy unicorn. I won it from a carnival too. It isn't pink and white, though, just brown. God I love that teddy-bear. But yes, a good Agnes quote "Let's go destroy some more games!"
