ResistanceStuck - John

So uh...I'm making a Homestuck AU. Called ResistanceStuck (unless there's an AU out there already called that in which case tell me and I'll rename it).

Note: I Posemaniac'd the hell out of this picture because all I could think of were boring poses, so if the anatomy looks off it's likely because I suck at using Posemaniacs as a reference. Also, flat color because fuck shading.

And here we have John. So, he's the leader of The Resistance (capital letters are necessary, according to John himself) and also the head of what he calls the Front Lines Division, who are basically the ground soldiers who do most of the head-on fighting.

When they split up from the trolls and headed back to have normal lives, John went back to school and was in college majoring in Computer Sciences. He still is a massive dork and loves crappy old movies, worships Nic Cage. He had braces all through middle school, but stopped wearing his retainer after he got them off so his teeth went part of the way back to what they were before. When he became leader of The Resistance he tried to grow a manly beard, but discovered that if it got past a certain length it started growing in wispy and patchy and weird looking. So he just keeps it short and thinks of himself as a grizzled badass (he isn't).

He tries very hard to be a friendleader still, so he actually gets to know the members of The Resistance and pretty much all of them would trust him with their life. Of course, though, all resistance movements have to have a small splinter movement that thinks they can do a better job. But anyway, he learned a lot of what he needed to know to lead The Resistance from the game. He is very good at thinking on his feet on the battlefield, but off the battlefield you wouldn't be able to tell because he is still his old dorky self and does add in a prankster element to his sabotage missions.

He still has windy powers, but he doesn't really use them when he doesn't have to, preferring to save them for being some sort of last-ditch saving maneuver to prevent the Alternian Army from planning and coming up with a counter for them.

He also is still technically God-Tier!immortal, but he doesn't push it.
